Not seen since… January 2004

Oh but they can… I’m sorry its been three months since I’ve put any reviews on here.  In truth we’ve watched lots of movies I’ve just been too lazy to put them up here… back to the movie…

Painfully awkward to watch (not because the acting is bad but because of the moral decisions the main characters keep struggling with). Its a great movie with moments that’ll make you laugh out loud and shout at the screen.

8/10 – I can always watch this.

Not as amazing as the first two but still a pretty solid film if you try to ignore Vinnie Jones. Its good in that it throws in some shocks but bad in the same light. Its funny, dark and compelling, performances are great as are the effects.

8/10 – Certainly one to watch, own and re-watch.

I wasn’t expecting much from this film but I thoroughly enjoyed it.  Its sick and twisted enough to please the weirdos, and the end is fantastic, a real treat of a movie.  Admittedly I’ve not seen the original but if its anything on this then I’m looking forward to it.

8/10 – horrid and wonderful

Great soundtrack and musical score.  Its feels a little American Beauty throughout with slow awkward characters and storylines which slowly develop.  It won’t necessarily make you want to watch it again but its worth a watch for some great performances.

6/10 – Its good, but its not great.

Its a CGI movie and its average at best. There’s not enough action or gore or interest in the plot, plus the end monster is not original and quite pathetic.

7/10 – watch it if you are a fan, don’t if you’re not.

Crap… pure crap, thanks Lewi. Only watch this movie for the humour in the credits. Basically its grunting cavemen and women running around killing people, badly. Gore is okayish, sound and acting is very very poor.

2/10 – thats me being kind too

John Cena (that’s right, THE John Cena (he is a wrestler if you didn’t know)) stars in one of the best wrestlers-in-movies movies. My personal feelings aside (I love the wrestling if you didn’t know) its certainly an above average film. Hard hitting fight scenes (I guess they ought to be), fast paced action and Robert Patrick, can anyone ask for more?

8/10 – 3rd place for wrestlers-in-movies movies

Such a shame this film is quite disappointing considering the remake of Dawn Of The Dawn is almost flawless. It amuses and entertains but its not consistent enough and has some shocking moments. Great gore though and the acting isn’t too bad.

7/10 – Try again, or don’t, in fact don’t, leave it where it is.

Steve Zahn is funny, but this film does not best demonstrate this. Supporting cast members who I can’t be bothered to look up are funny, but this film doesn’t best demonstrate this. The outtakes are brilliant, the guy who plays the chunky kid in Superbad seems really funny, especially improvisation wise, and it almost makes it worth making yourself finish the movie. Has some cheap laughs throughout but generally unimpressive.

4/10 – Try again Happy Maddison Productions.

Now, I’d never seen this film growing up and it shows its age but Mr. Murray is still pretty funny. Its very tame but holds the attention all the while.

6/10 – old but by no means bad
