Okay, so its not as awesome as it would have been watching it the first time around as a 7 year old boy but its still pretty cool.  Mega cheesy, mega cliched but mega bodacious.  If it wasn’t a film based on a cartoon a lot of us loved it’d be rubbish, but it is, so its brill.  Look out for early Sam Rockwell and Skeet Ulrich.

7/10 for nostalgia’s sake.

Totally not what I was expecting, although in truth I didn’t know what to expect.  A very good film indeed.  The leading cast members are very convincing (ignoring a couple of accent slip-ups) and the story is told well.  Apparently its not far from the truth which makes it a much better movie of course.  The action (and there is a fair bit) is really well shot and you certainly feel it.  For the few out there in touch with your feminine side, you may just shed a few tears.  Strangely its also quite funny in places.  A hint: don’t read about it before you see it, it may ruin the end.

I’d watch it again.  9/10

Wonderful film.  Bale is brilliant as an enforcer is a good old post-apocalyptic world of a society under a strict regime.  The action scenes are exciting and well shot, the storyline is great and the acting is flawless.  Okay, so its all about a emotionless man finding he is a big wet one under it all but with lots of death, cgi and cool stunts throughout.  The final fight scene is fantastic and is worth watching it for this scene alone.

Own it… even though I don’t.  9/10

Steven Seagal is always impressive.  Whether its his Italian background making him sound slightly mafia or his actual blackbeltedness or the fact that he slaps the hell out of everyone in every film he is in, it still remains the man is solid.  Reading the synopsis and being fully aware the man has not made a ‘good’ film since Under Siege I was expecting a rubbish movie, but it wasn’t too bad.  Well, okay so the acting was pretty poor, the accents were pretty shoddy, some of the action scenes were a little CGI or rope happy, and the plot was fairly bad… okay so everything should have made this film awful but I loved it.  Don’t expect a good film and you’ll enjoy this.

Only watch it late at night on the Sci-Fi channel, but watch it all the same.  6/10.

Well, we posted a message yesterday but Will was fiddling with the website and its been deleted now.  How strange, never mind.

We thought, a year on, we should do something with our website so we are.  We are both well, back to work and enjoying our new home and married life, as any good married couple should.

The title may sound a little uninspiring but I was really surprised by this gem, its a ‘who done it’ done really well.  I even had to rewind it at the end to make true sense of the scenes.  Johnny Lee Miller’s accent is pretty annoying but the rest of the cast (including LL Cool J and Val Kilmer) are relatively convincing.

Well worth a watch.  8/10.

My favourite of the four.  Bruce being hardcore, Jackson being racist, explosions, riddles and brilliant one liners.  Perfect movie.

You need to have this movie in your collection.  10/10.

When will people learn that quick succession shot changes do not make fight/chase scenes any better?  With no proper Bond Girl or Villain with some form of unique characteristic setting them apart from the rest, I should’ve known better.  There are some gritty fight scenes, which is nice, and Craig and Dench’s chemistry is wonderful to watch but its by no means a great film.  On its own merits its average, compared to Casino Royale its rubbish (and thats putting it politely).

Borrow it, don’t buy it. 6/10.

Much better when you’re paying attention to the storyline.  Great action sequences throughout.  Thoroughly enjoyable Bond movie indeed complete with Bond Girl, Bond Villain and great stunts.  The first chase scene is fantastic and Daniel Craig is very convincing as 007.

Buy, watch then repeat step 2. 8/10.

This is a poor movie with ‘not bad’ deaths.  They tried to be clever but I just didn’t care.  The film spends a lot of time overdoing things in expectation of a stupid audience whereas in reality we are just bored.  They need to just stop where they are or make one as good as the first one… simple.

Don’t buy, don’t watch… just don’t.  5/10 (only because of the deaths)
